Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a Mobile Hearing Aid Dispenser for our client, working across Crawley and travelling up to two hours from home. The full-time role offers a basic salary of up to £52,000, plus uncapped tiered commission, a quarterly bonus and a company car or car allowance.
It will suit an audiology professional who values clinical autonomy and wants to develop their skills while helping people find appropriate hearing solutions.
You will deliver a varied schedule of appointments, including hearing assessments, aftercare and wax removal, tailoring consultations and recommendations to each person. You will have autonomy over your schedule and work with a broad range of hearing-care equipment, including video otoscopy, tympanometry, speech testing, real-ear measurements, microsuction and irrigation tools. The client is not tied to particular hearing aid manufacturers, allowing you to select suitable options for individual patients.
Reporting to an Area Manager, you will also have access to guidance from the clinical care team. The role includes a three-week induction covering the organisation’s approach, equipment and service standards. Training in wax removal is available if needed, and ongoing development is supported through personalised plans, innovation sessions and annual conferences.
Our client is an established, independent, family-run provider of optical and hearing care. Its manufacturer-independent approach gives clinicians scope to recommend hearing solutions according to individual needs. The organisation places emphasis on patient care, clinical development and colleague input, with opportunities to share ideas through regular innovation sessions.
New starters receive a structured induction, while ongoing learning is supported by the clinical care team and annual conferences featuring workshops, seminars and industry contributions. The package includes uncapped tiered commission at 10%, a quarterly bonus of up to £4,000, a company car or car allowance, a medical cash plan, gym membership and paid time off for volunteering. Annual leave includes commission cover during the first 25 days, and company-funded events recognise colleagues’ achievements.
HCPC registration is welcomed; applications from people awaiting registration are also considered, with assistance towards obtaining registration offered where possible. You should be able to carry out hearing assessments, provide aftercare and undertake wax removal, or be willing to develop your wax-removal skills through training.
The role calls for someone able to manage a varied appointment schedule with autonomy while tailoring recommendations to each patient. An interest in continuing professional development and contributing ideas to improve the experience of colleagues and customers will be valuable.
This position could suit an audiology professional moving from the NHS or another private practice who is ready for greater autonomy in managing appointments and clinical recommendations. It may appeal to someone seeking a well-supported move, with structured induction and opportunities to build expertise in hearing care.
The role is based in Crawley, West Sussex, with travel of up to two hours from your home address. You will work across the area rather than at a single fixed clinic.
