Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a Hearing Aid Audiologist for a Maidenhead hearing centre. This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £38,000 to £40,000, with uncapped monthly commission, quarterly and annual bonuses, plus a car allowance from £5,328 per annum or a company car if preferred.
This is a position for an HCPC-qualified audiologist who combines strong clinical standards with confidence in patient care and sales. It will suit someone who wants to work in a structured, supportive environment while making a clear difference to people living with hearing loss.
The role centres on carrying out comprehensive hearing assessments and recommending the most appropriate hearing solutions within set timescales. You will work in line with HCPC standards of performance, conduct and ethics, as well as BSHAA code of practice and guidelines, while maintaining accurate audiograms and customer records on the company’s CMS system.
Day to day, you will also follow company working practices, including the standard consultation process, and deliver a premium after-sales service by responding to service calls and resolving problems or queries promptly and professionally. The post involves close support from a designated diary coordinator and a team of managers, with the expectation that you keep your knowledge and skills current through HCPC CPD requirements.
Our client is a long-established private hearing healthcare provider with a strong reputation for delivering high standards of care. Established in 1968, they support more than 100,000 people each year and employ over 650 people in the UK, including almost 240 fully qualified Hearing Aid Dispensers.
They are known for a down-to-earth, supportive culture where colleagues feel part of a close-knit team. The organisation is Investors in People Gold accredited and offers ongoing training and development, alongside a pay structure that recognises excellent patient care through commission and bonus potential.
You will be a qualified HAD or Pre-Registered HAD with current HCPC registration. A current driving licence is essential, and you should be a member of BSHAA or prepared to become one. The role also requires IT skills that support the use of company systems and audiometry equipment.
We are looking for someone with the ability to manage time and workload in a planned, structured way, alongside the confidence to provide premium customer care. An aptitude for sales is important, as is the willingness to keep professional knowledge up to date. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK/EU without restrictions, as visa sponsorship is not available.
This role will suit an audiologist who wants to combine clinical work with patient-facing service and sales in a private hearing care setting. It will appeal to someone who values support, development and a clear framework for career progression.
The role is based on High Street in Maidenhead, Berkshire, in a town-centre setting with local amenities close by. Maidenhead offers straightforward access to the wider area and the convenience of an established market town location.
