Flame Health Audiology has been instructed by our client to recruit a Mobile Hearing Aid Dispenser for a role based around Guildford, Surrey. Offering a basic salary of £50,000–£52,000, uncapped tiered commission and a quarterly bonus of up to £4,000, this position will suit a hearing care professional who values clinical autonomy, varied appointments and continued development.
You will provide hearing care across a mobile service, managing a varied schedule that includes hearing assessments, aftercare and wax removal. The role offers autonomy over your appointments, with support from the clinical care team and reporting to an Area Manager.
You will have access to equipment including video otoscopy, tympanometry, speech testing, real-ear measurements, microsuction and irrigation tools. The client is not tied to specific hearing aid manufacturers, allowing you to select solutions suited to each patient. A three-week induction introduces you to the service, equipment and standards, with wax removal training available where needed. Ongoing development is supported through personalised plans, clinical guidance and annual conferences.
Our client is an established, independent, family-run provider of hearing care. Its approach places patient care at the centre of the service and gives hearing care professionals the freedom to recommend solutions without being tied to particular manufacturers.
The role comes with structured induction, continuing clinical support and development opportunities. The package includes a company car or car allowance, a medical cash plan, gym membership, paid time off for volunteering and annual leave, including commission coverage during the first 25 days. Company-funded events provide opportunities to recognise colleagues’ achievements.
Applicants with HCPC registration are welcome, as are candidates awaiting registration; support may be available to help them obtain it. The role is suited to a hearing care professional able to deliver assessments, aftercare and wax removal as part of a mobile service.
The position calls for someone who can work autonomously while making use of clinical support and development opportunities. A patient-focused approach is important, alongside the ability to tailor hearing care and solutions to individual needs. Candidates moving from NHS or private practice will receive an induction designed to prepare them for the client’s service and clinic work.
This opportunity could suit an established hearing care professional seeking greater autonomy and a varied mobile caseload, or someone transitioning from NHS or private practice who values a thorough induction. It may also appeal to a candidate awaiting HCPC registration and looking for support as they progress into the role.
The role is based around Guildford, Surrey, and is mobile, with travel that may involve a commute of up to two hours from your home address.
