Flame Health’s Optometry division have a unique and exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced Dispensing optician  to join this optical practice based in the Peterborough area.

Your main responsibilities as a Dispensing  optician will be to work as part of a successful and supportive team ensuring that you perform to the best of your abilities. This will mean providing a high level of customer service at all times and to every patient and push yourself to be the best you can be

You will use your skills to give customers a dispensing service of the highest clinical standards, will liaise with the optical, retail and lab teams, and give clear, sound advice.
Your efforts will help to drive overall sales as well as customer loyalty, you will work with up to date technology and have the time to really get to know your patient 

You will be registered with the GOC and have an excellent manner with patients and of course be a natural when it comes to customer care

Duties will include:

• Dispensing
• Helping and advising customers
• Booking appointments
• Meet and greeting customers
• High levels of customer service
• Measurements, adjustments fitting
• Advising and helping choose frames

Optical services 

• Contact lens
• Retinal scans
• Dry Eye 
• Designer eyewear 
• Retinal scans
• Glaucoma testing 
• NHS and Private 

You will of course be fully supported and working with a full team of Optometrists and trained professionals that will encourage and help you to achieve targets 

You must have previous optical experience to apply for this role.
