Flame Health Audiology is working with an independent hearing care provider to recruit an Audiologist for practices across County Durham and Stockton-on-Tees. Offering a pro-rata salary of £34,000–£40,000 depending on experience, plus a performance-related bonus, this part-time opportunity suits a registered Audiologist seeking clinical autonomy and a patient-focused practice environment.
You will deliver comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic testing, recommend, fit and adjust hearing aids, and provide ongoing aftercare and rehabilitation support. The role includes managing consultations, creating personalised treatment plans and maintaining accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
You will work across two independent practices, supported by high-quality diagnostic equipment and current hearing technology. The position offers flexible working arrangements, with equipment provided and the opportunity to remain up to date with audiology advancements and best practice.

You must hold HCPC registration as a Hearing Aid Dispenser or Audiologist, together with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology or a related discipline. Experience in hearing loss rehabilitation and tinnitus management is required, alongside strong audiology assessment and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of ENT procedures and micro-suction techniques is desirable. You will need excellent communication and patient care skills, with the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
