Flame Health are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent opticians for an Optometrist to join their friendly and relaxed practice.

This opportunity is ideal for an Optometrist who values clinical freedom, work–life balance, and high-quality patient care. The practice is happy to consider newly qualified Optometrists, offering a supportive environment where clinicians can grow and develop without pressure.

The Role

• 2–3 days per week
• Flexible working hours
• 2–3 Saturdays per month
• No sales targets – purely clinical role
• Dedicated clinics with appropriate testing times
• Supportive, laid-back working environment

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £65,000 pro rata

The Practice

• Independent, patient-focused practice with a strong local reputation
• Modern consulting rooms with latest diagnostic equipment, including OCT
• Dedicated contact lens department
• Provides a range of additional specialist services, including:

Myopia management
Dry eye clinics
Dedicated children’s clinics
Specialist and complex contact lens fitting

• Focus on delivering personalised care in the patient’s best interest

About You

• GOC registered Optometrist
• Newly qualified or experienced Optometrist considered
• Passionate about patient care and clinical excellence
• Comfortable working independently while being part of a close-knit team
• Interest in specialist services (training and support available)
