Job Description: As an Optical Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Understanding different lens indexes, types of lenses, and designs of frames (Single Vision, Bi-focal, & Varifocal) - training provided
Taking measurements and supporting patients with collections, ensuring the fit, comfort, and accuracy of frames
Listening to patients and offering clear advice on suitable products and offers while understanding NHS procedures
Answering enquiries promptly and politely, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring messages are passed on by email or telephone
Following processes and procedures accurately and efficiently

Full-time position: 5 days a week, including Saturdays
- Monday-Friday: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
Competitive salary: £18,000.00 - £23,000.00 per year
Bonus available

Requirements:

Experience in an optical setting is preferred, but training will be provided
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Ability to work efficiently and accurately
