Job Description: As an Optical Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Understanding different lens indexes, types of lenses, and designs of frames (Single Vision, Bi-focal, & Varifocal) - training provided 
• Taking measurements and supporting patients with collections, ensuring the fit, comfort, and accuracy of frames 
• Listening to patients and offering clear advice on suitable products and offers while understanding NHS procedures 
• Answering enquiries promptly and politely, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring messages are passed on by email or telephone 
• Following processes and procedures accurately and efficiently

  • Monday-Friday: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
• Competitive salary: £18,000.00 - £23,000.00 per year 
• Bonus available

Requirements:

• Experience in an optical setting is preferred, but training will be provided
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately
