Flame Health Optometry team are looking for an Optical Advisor at an independent optician based in the Ealing area of London. The role requires experience in the optical industry, and the key focus is on providing an exceptional customer experience in both clinical and retail settings. As a first point of contact for patients, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, handling customer queries, and ensuring the practice is welcoming and well-organised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a welcoming, front-of-house service, managing customer interaction from arrival to departure.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
• Work closely with the practice manager to foster a positive team environment.
• Handle diary management, patient appointments, and retail sales when necessary.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and the clinical team, contributing to a smooth flow of operations.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Optical dispensing experience
• Experience with Optix software (desirable but not essential).
• Strong leadership, organisational, and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
