Job Title: Audiologist
Reporting to: Regional Manager
Salary: £40,000 p/a pro rata + commission
Location: Hampshire

Job Summary
As a domiciliary audiologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audiological testing services both in patients' homes and in-store at select locations. Your expertise will support not only private patients but also the NHS, ensuring comprehensive hearing care for all.
Clinical Responsibilities

Manage a daily schedule of adults with hearing loss.

Conduct Pure Tone Audiometry, including masking as required.

Perform tests for non-organic hearing loss and Noise Induced Hearing Loss.

Take aural impressions and select appropriate ear moulds.
-
Program and fit hearing instruments tailored to patient needs.
-
Provide a structured, patient-centric aftercare programme.
-
Use Real Ear Measurement equipment to validate hearing instrument fittings.
-
Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
-
Provide ear care and wax removal (training provided).
-
Adhere to best practice principles for infection control.
Professional Responsibilities

Meet the necessary expertise level to register with the HCPC as a Hearing Aid Dispenser (training provided).

Reflect on own practice and identify strengths and development needs.

Maintain CPD records and comply with HCPC CPD requirements.
-
Understand and apply clinical governance principles in Audiology.
-
Ensure staff comply with Infection Control, Health and Safety, and Risk Management policies.
Your Skills & Experience
-
Effective and flexible communicator.
-
Proficient in digital systems with great attention to detail.
-
Confident driver with at least two years of driving experience.
-
Calm under pressure and pragmatic problem solver.
-
Organised and able to multitask.
-
Work within clinical knowledge and limitations.
