Flame Health Optometry have been instructed to support the search for a qualified, GOC-registered Optometrist for a permanent, onsite position based in Weymouth, Dorset, with work across Bridport and Weymouth.
The salary is ÂŁ45,000 to ÂŁ50,000 per annum, and the role will suit either a newly qualified or experienced clinician who values thorough patient care, strong relationships, and a hands-on role within a supportive branch environment.
This role centres on providing comprehensive eye examinations within 30-minute test slots, using sound clinical judgement to diagnose and manage a range of eye health conditions. You will also offer tailored advice on spectacle and contact lens options, ensuring each customer receives clear, individual guidance.
Alongside your clinical work, you will build trusted relationships with customers and work closely with the branch team to support service delivery and business growth.
The position also includes involvement in local enhanced service schemes, pre-registration supervision where applicable, and ongoing CPD to keep your knowledge current. You will work with fully computerised systems and have access to updated optical product ranges.
