Working Pattern: 5 Days Per Week (Including Saturdays on a Rota Basis)

About the Opportunity

Flame Health Optometry is recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent Optical and Hearing care provider that is seeking a Practice Manager to join its well-established practice in the East Derbyshire area.

The successful candidate will become an integral part of a supportive management structure, helping to drive commercial performance while maintaining exceptional customer and patient care standards.

The Role

The Practice Manager will support the day-to-day running of the practice, working closely with the senior management team to ensure the branch operates efficiently, profitably and to the highest professional standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the management of daily practice operations
Supervising, motivating and developing team members
Driving business growth and commercial performance
Ensuring excellent customer and patient care standards
Maintaining smooth operational processes and profitability
Supporting the delivery of practice objectives and KPIs
Creating a positive and productive team culture
Ensuring compliance with company policies and professional standards
Managing stock control and operational efficiencies
Supporting the continued development of the practice and its team

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in optical practice management or retail management
Optical experience preferred
Fully qualified Dispensing Optician desirable, though not essential
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
Ability to drive efficiency, performance and team engagement
Commercially aware with a customer-focused approach
Confident leading and developing teams
Able to motivate colleagues and deliver results within a busy environment
