The Opportunity

This role offers a Dispensing Optician the chance to work across two independent practices, combining clinical dispensing expertise with leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering outstanding patient care while supporting the day-to-day operations and team performance across both locations.

This is a varied and rewarding position, ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on clinical role alongside leadership, HR involvement, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert spectacle dispensing to the highest professional standards
• Work across two independent practices, ensuring consistency in patient care and service
• Supervise and support the optical team in daily operations
• Oversee pre-screening, patient journey, and clinic flow
• Ensure compliance with GOC and industry regulations
• Support HR functions, team leadership, and staff development
• Assist with training, mentoring, and performance management
• Contribute to commercial targets and overall business performance
• Maintain a strong focus on customer service and patient experience

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be a GOC-registered Dispensing Optician with strong clinical and dispensing skills, combined with leadership capability and a passion for independent practice.
