An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Dentist with a Special Interest or Speciality to join a well-established, independent mixed practice.
This role offers the chance to take over a long-standing, predominantly Private and Denplan patient list, built on trust and continuity of care over the past 10 years. We are seeking a clinician who values relationship-led dentistry, long-term commitment, and high clinical standards.

Experienced Practice Manager & Deputy Manager
Allocated dental nurse

The Location
The practice is located in North Somerset recognised as one of the top places to live offering excellent schools, strong community spirit, and high living standards.
Conveniently located:
25–30 minutes from Bristol
20 minutes from Weston-super-Mare
Several current clinicians commute from Bristol or Weston-super-Mare.
We strongly encourage applications from candidates living within, or willing to relocate to, a 30-minute commute of the practice. Long-term experience has shown that sustainable commuting is key to longevity and work-life balance.

The Opportunity
Permanent, Part-Time position
3 days per week: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
(Tuesday instead of Wednesday can be considered)
Take over a mature list of predominantly Private & Denplan patients
Small NHS commitment: approx. 500 UDAs per year (pro-rata)
£13.00–£14.00 per UDA (mostly children)
50% split on Private work and lab fees
Approximate monthly earnings: £6,000–£8,000 (performance dependent)
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an Associate Dentist who will:
Build strong, long-term relationships with patients
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Be a supportive and collaborative team member
Show commitment to developing within the practice
Ideally have several years’ post-qualification experience
Hold, or be working towards, a Special Interest or recognised Speciality
The practice is keen to support further clinical development and would welcome a clinician looking to expand or establish a special interest within a well-equipped, forward-thinking environment.
Compliance Requirements
Applicants must have:
Right to work in the UK
Full NHS Performer Number & PIN
Current GDC registration & Indemnity
Degree certificate
CPR certificate (within last 12 months)
Hepatitis B immunisation
Enhanced DBS (within last 24 months)
Minimum two clinical references covering the past two years
