Flame Care are currently working alongside an established care and education provider for children and young people, in recruiting a Head Teacher. This independent special school, based on the rural outskirts of Lyndhurst in the New Forest, is a high quality educational and residential provision for both boys and girls aged between 5-19 years old. The school provides education for autistic pupils and has passed its registration with the DEF for 25 pupils.
This is a great opportunity to lead and develop a new school for this national company.   
The ideal candidate: 

• A qualified teacher with senior management experience
• Proven leadership and management skills
• NPQH qualified is preferable
• A wide range of experience in special educational needs
• Be fully aware of current practice in special education
• A commitment to secure outstanding outcomes for all our pupils
• An enthusiasm for working in partnership with support services, parents and the local community
• Highly developed inter-personal skills
• Have the ability to innovate and see plans through to successful fruition
• Must be able to contribute to the individual development of staff, teachers and pupils
• Provide enthusiastic and positive leadership to a committed team
