Flame Health Optometry have been instructed to recruit two experienced Optical Assistants for a new showroom in Ardleigh, Essex. This is a full-time opportunity within a dispensing-only optical business, offering £15.27 per hour and the chance to help establish a new location. The role will suit someone with hands-on optical dispensing experience who enjoys taking ownership of customer appointments and contributing to the day-to-day running of a showroom.
Our client is seeking two experienced Optical Assistants to work full-time in Ardleigh, Essex, earning £15.27 per hour. The opportunity will appeal to confident dispensers who value taking time with customers and would like to help establish a new showroom.
You will provide a personalised dispensing service, helping customers find eyewear suited to their needs. Appointments are scheduled for one hour, giving you time to focus on each customer, and you will manage your own appointment diary.
Alongside dispensing, you will support the day-to-day operation of the showroom and play an active part in getting the new location established. The role is full-time, includes alternate Saturdays and has no late nights. Optional overtime is available.
Our client operates a dispensing-only optical business, with a new showroom in Ardleigh building on its existing retail presence. Customers can receive tailored advice on premium frames and lenses using a copy of their prescription. The appointment-based service allows time to discuss individual eyewear needs. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the opening of a new showroom, with quarterly team activities or meals among the arrangements described for staff.
You will have previous experience in optics, including dispensing, and be confident managing your own appointments. The role also calls for someone able to support the practical day-to-day running of a showroom.
Experience gained in either an independent practice or a multiple optical retailer is welcome. You should be comfortable providing attentive, individual service and taking responsibility for your appointments. No specific registration, licence or additional qualification is stated as a requirement.
