The Role

Flame Health Optical is proud to represent this respected brand in their search for an additional Business Development Manager to support continued expansion across the South West region (ideally Bristol-based).

This field-based position offers the opportunity to manage and develop key customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute directly to the success of a growing UK division.

You will work closely with the Managing Director, implementing sales strategies, driving brand visibility, and ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to execute sales and growth strategies.
  • Manage appointments, travel, and diary autonomously.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.
  • Provide market insights to support business decisions.
  • Represent the company professionally at trade events and client meetings.

Candidate Profile

  • Background in optics preferred (Dispensing Optician or experienced Optical Assistant).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven.
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays and international visits to Europe
  • Full UK driving licence and valid passport required.???????
