Job Overview

Flame Health Optometry is working in partnership with a reputable independent optical and hearing care company to recruit an experienced Optical Practice Manager / Optical Branch Manager for a full-time position based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

The Role

As Optical Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day management of the practice, ensuring both commercial success and outstanding patient care. Key responsibilities include:

• Full responsibility for practice and team management
• Leading, motivating, and developing the store team
• Working to company and store performance targets
• Driving business growth and practice profitability
• Ensuring customers receive consistently excellent service
• Supporting and delivering staff training and development
• Keeping up to date with the latest optical and industry developments
• Acting as a visible and supportive leader within the practice

Candidate Requirements

• Previous management experience within an optical practice preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Dispensing experience desirable but not essential
• Applications welcome from experienced Retail Managers or Optical Advisors with strong leadership experience
