Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a Hearing Aid Dispenser for a domiciliary role covering Guildford, South West London and surrounding areas. Offering up to £50,000 plus monthly commission and a company car, this weekday-only position suits an HCPC-registered professional who combines strong clinical expertise with confidence in private sales.
You will manage a daily schedule of adults with hearing loss, delivering audiological testing and hearing care in patients’ homes. Responsibilities include pure tone audiometry, masking, testing for non-organic and noise-induced hearing loss, taking aural impressions, selecting and fitting hearing instruments, and providing structured, patient-centred aftercare.
You will use outcome measures and Real Ear Measurement equipment to verify fittings, provide ear care and wax removal where required, and maintain test equipment and calibration arrangements. The role involves autonomous decision-making, supported by central logistical and clinical teams, while reporting to a Regional Manager.
Our client provides home-based sight and hearing care, supporting people who may find access to traditional clinical settings difficult. Its professionals deliver services directly in patients’ homes, with a focus on practical, life-enhancing support.
The organisation offers central clinical and logistical assistance, alongside benefits including private medical insurance, a company car, life assurance, health and wellbeing initiatives, a contributory pension scheme, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and access to a colleague assistance programme. Discounted eyewear and hearing products are also available after the qualifying period.
You must be registered with the HCPC as a Hearing Aid Dispenser, with appropriate training provided where needed. You will bring experience in audiological assessment, hearing instrument selection, programming and fitting, aftercare, outcome measurement, and evidence-based practice. The position also requires an understanding of clinical governance, infection control, health and safety, risk management, professional boundaries and HCPC continuing professional development requirements.
You should be a confident driver with at least two years’ driving experience and the ability to navigate multiple locations. Strong communication, digital confidence, attention to detail, organisation and a pragmatic approach to problem solving are important. You will need to remain calm under pressure, manage competing demands and recognise when advice or support is required.
This opportunity is suited to a hearing care professional who wants to work autonomously while maintaining access to strong clinical and operational support. It will appeal to someone motivated by patient-focused domiciliary care, private sales and continued professional development, and who values working weekdays without weekend commitments.
The role covers Guildford, South West London and surrounding areas. Guildford offers convenient access to London and the wider Surrey area, with a mix of town-centre amenities, residential communities and surrounding countryside.
