This role will suit a HCPC-registered clinician who is confident in patient-facing hearing care and wants to work with modern audiology technology in a supportive setting.
In this role you will carry out comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests, then fit and programme hearing aids to meet each patient’s individual needs. You will also provide clear advice, education and ongoing support so patients can get the best from their hearing devices, alongside carrying out maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting when needed.
The position also involves maintaining accurate clinical records in line with professional and regulatory standards, and working closely with support staff to help deliver a high standard of patient care. Ongoing professional development is part of the role, with a focus on keeping up to date with changes in audiology and hearing aid technology.
Our client is a well-established provider within opticians and hearing care, offering a professional and supportive environment for patient-focused clinicians. The business gives access to the latest hearing aid technology and clinical tools, with a team culture that values service quality and practical support.
The package includes a competitive salary and benefits, a company car or car allowance, 28 days’ annual leave including bank holidays pro-rata, and a generous staff discount scheme. There are also opportunities for professional development and career progression.
We are looking for a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. You should have experience fitting and managing a wide range of hearing aids, together with strong clinical skills and a genuine commitment to helping people improve their hearing.
Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a patient-centred approach and the ability to work empathetically and effectively. A commitment to ongoing learning, teamwork and accurate record keeping will also be important in this role.
This role will suit an audiology professional who wants to make a meaningful difference to patients’ daily lives through careful assessment, fitting and follow-up support. It will appeal to someone looking for a stable permanent post where clinical standards, teamwork and continued learning are valued.
