An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Optical Practice Manager to join our clients team within two practices in Northumberland. If you have a background in retail management and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in the optical sector, we want to hear from you.

Role Requirements:

• Previous retail management experience is essential
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Strong selling and customer service skills
• Excellent organisational abilities
• Willingness to learn and implement new information
• Attention to detail and reliability are paramount
• A collaborative team player with integrity and trustworthiness

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality at all times
• Lead the team to achieve high levels of sales performance and customer satisfaction
• Stay updated on product knowledge to offer the best solutions to customers
• Maintain store displays and ensure adherence to company guidelines for product security and hygiene
• Accurately manage transactions through the POS system
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining comprehensive handovers between staff
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses tailored to their lifestyle and prescription needs
• Proactively engage in operational standards and training modules to enhance knowledge
• Support with contact lenses and glasses dispensing
