Flame Health Audiology have been instructed by our client to recruit a Hearing Aid Audiologist for the Liverpool area. The role offers a basic salary of £40,000 per annum, with uncapped monthly commission and the opportunity to earn quarterly and annual bonuses, making it well suited to a HCPC-qualified audiologist who values both patient care and the commercial side of the work.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, with some flexibility required to meet business needs. The post is split between two days in the Liverpool hearing centre and three days visiting patients in their own homes, with support from a designated diary coordinator and a team of managers.
Day to day, you will carry out comprehensive hearing assessments, provide and sell suitable hearing solutions, and work to specified timescales in line with HCPC standards of performance, conduct and ethics, as well as the BSHAA code of practice and guidelines. You will also complete audiograms and customer records accurately on the company CMS system,
synchronising them daily, follow the standard consultation process, and provide timely after sales support by responding to service calls and resolving queries professionally. Keeping knowledge and skills current in line with HCPC CPD requirements is also part of the role.
Our client is one of the UK’s leading expert providers of private hearing healthcare, with a clear focus on making a life-changing difference to people living with hearing loss. Established in 1968, the organisation supports more than 100,000 people each year and is part of a global hearing healthcare and technology group.
The business employs over 650 people in the UK, including almost 240 fully qualified Hearing Aid Dispensers, and is recognised for a down to earth, supportive culture. It was the first dedicated hearing retailer to be recognised as an Investors in People member over 15 years ago and was awarded Gold standard in 2023. Colleagues are encouraged to be engaged with the organisation, with ongoing training and development available.
You will need to be a HCPC-qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist, or a Pre-Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser, with current HCPC registration. Membership of BSHAA is required, or you should be prepared to join.
The role calls for someone with strong IT skills, able to use company systems and audiometry equipment with confidence, alongside good time and workload management so work is planned and structured. A full UK driving licence is essential, as is the ability and desire to provide premium customer care. An aptitude for sales is also important. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK/EU without restriction, as visa sponsorship is not available.
This position will suit an audiologist who is comfortable combining clinic-based work with home visits and who enjoys building trust with patients through careful assessment and clear advice. It will appeal to someone looking for a role where service standards matter, where commercial awareness is valued, and where there is scope to develop through ongoing training.
The role is based in Liverpool, Merseyside, with time split between a hearing centre and patient homes across the local area. The setting offers straightforward access to the wider city and surrounding region.
