Audiologist Jobs Inverness

JOB Details:

Job Overview

Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a full-time, permanent Hearing Aid Audiologist for a role based between a hearing centre in Inverness and patients’ homes.

Offering a basic salary of £40,000, uncapped monthly commission and additional bonus opportunities, this position will suit an HCPC-registered professional who combines clinical expertise with a strong commitment to customer care and sales.

About the Job

Working 37.5 hours per week, you will conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, complete audiograms and recommend appropriate hearing solutions in line with HCPC standards and BSHAA guidance. The role combines centre-based consultations with field-based visits to patients in their homes.

You will maintain accurate customer records using the company’s CMS system, synchronise information daily and follow the standard consultation process. You will also provide responsive after-sales support, dealing with service calls, queries and hearing solution issues in a timely and professional manner. A designated diary coordinator and supportive management team will assist you, while some flexibility in working hours may be required to meet business needs.

About the Employer

Our client operates within the health and human services sector and forms part of an international hearing care group with a substantial network of clinics and hearing care professionals across multiple markets. Its approach combines global resources with local service, supported by audiologists, managers, front-of-house colleagues and wider specialist functions.

The organisation is committed to personalised care and helping more people hear better. It offers a supportive working culture, an internationally connected environment, employee discounts, long-service recognition and an Investors in People Gold accreditation.

What We Are Looking For

You must hold current HCPC registration and be a qualified Hearing Aid Dispenser or a pre-registered Hearing Aid Dispenser. Membership of BSHAA is required, or you should be prepared to become a member.

You will need the clinical ability to complete hearing assessments and prescribe suitable hearing solutions while working within professional standards, codes of practice and specified timescales. Strong IT skills are essential for using company systems and audiometry equipment. You should also demonstrate effective time and job management, enabling you to structure your workload across hearing-centre appointments, home visits and after-sales support. The role requires someone who can deliver premium customer care and who has an aptitude for sales, while maintaining and developing knowledge in line with HCPC continuing professional development requirements.

Who This Role Suits

This position would suit an HCPC-qualified audiologist, or a pre-registered professional progressing towards full registration, who wants a varied role combining clinical work, home visits and customer-focused sales. It may appeal to someone seeking a well-supported permanent position with earning potential, professional standards and the opportunity to make a practical difference to patients’ everyday hearing experience.

Job Location

The role is based in Inverness, Scotland, with work carried out at the local hearing centre and in patients’ homes across the surrounding area.
