Job Overview

Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to work with our client on the appointment of a Hearing Aid Audiologist for a permanent onsite position covering Banbury and Bicester. Offering a salary of £36,000 to £38,000 per annum, this role will suit a qualified audiology professional who enjoys hands-on clinical work, patient contact, and the chance to make a clear difference to daily life.

About the Job

In this role, you will carry out comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests, then fit, programme, adjust and maintain hearing aids to meet individual needs. You will also provide advice, education and ongoing support to help patients get the best from their hearing devices, while dealing with maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting as required.

The position involves keeping accurate clinical records in line with professional and regulatory standards, and working closely with support staff to deliver consistent patient care. You will also stay current with developments in audiology and hearing aid technology through continuous professional development, using modern clinical tools in a supportive setting.

About the Employer

Our client operates within optometry and hearing care, with a focus on delivering practical, patient-centred services. The environment described is professional, friendly and supportive, with access to the latest hearing technology and clinical equipment.

The wider package includes opportunities for development and progression, a company car or car allowance, 28 days’ annual leave including bank holidays pro rata, and a generous staff discount scheme. It is a business that values quality care and the contribution of its clinical teams.

What We Are Looking For

You must be a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). The ideal background includes experience fitting and managing a wide range of hearing aids, alongside strong clinical judgement and the ability to deliver accurate, effective care.

Excellent communication skills are important, as is a patient-centred approach and the confidence to offer empathetic support. We are also looking for someone who is committed to ongoing learning and who works well as part of a team.

Who This Role Suits

This role will suit a registered Hearing Aid Audiologist who wants a practical, patient-facing position where clinical skill and service matter equally. It is well matched to someone who takes satisfaction from helping people improve their hearing and is keen to keep developing with modern technology and professional support.

Job Location

The role is based across Banbury and Bicester in Oxfordshire, and is onsite. Both locations are within the county and are accessible from the surrounding area.
