The Role

This position would suit a skilled and experienced GOC-registered Dispensing Optician who:

• Delivers exceptional customer service
• Enjoys building lasting patient relationships
• Is confident dispensing a wide variety of lens types
• Takes pride in delivering a personalised, premium service

You will be encouraged to contribute ideas, undertake further training, and continue developing your dispensing career within a supportive independent setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispensing spectacles and lenses tailored to individual prescriptions and lifestyles
• Advising on frames, lens options, and specialist products
• Adjusting and repairing frames
• Ensuring patients feel informed, confident, and valued
• Staying updated with industry trends and product developments
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure seamless practice operations

Ideal Candidate

• Fully qualified Dispensing Optician with current GOC registration
• Proven experience within an optical practice
• Confident dispensing single vision, bifocals, varifocals and specialist lenses
• Strong communication skills and patient rapport-building ability
• Professional, motivated, and customer-focused approach
