Flame Health are currently recruiting for a Dental Hygienist or Therapist in Sheffield, Port Talbot and Merthyr Tydfil area.
The Dental Hygienist/Therapist would be working within their own newly equipped surgery. They will be required to tailor their appointment times to specific treatments as prescribed by the dentists; this can vary from 20 minutes to an hour. You will work closely with the dentist and will have full clinical support. The practice holds a meeting every 3 months where members of the team can talk freely about clinical problems and positively discuss taking patient’s treatments forward and concentrating on prevention.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and have a clear and logical approach to their role and discussing treatment plans with patients to ensure patients are comfortable and reassured about certain procedures and required appointments. They may have to deal with severe periodontal cases and therefore excellent communication skills are paramount.
