Did You Miss The GDC Retention Fee Deadline?
Dental care professionals who missed the 31st July annual retention fee deadline still have a chance to register with the GDC. Being GDC registered is a legal requirement for all dental care professionals, dental nurses, dental therapists and hygienists and clinical dental technicians. Those who failed to pay their fee on time have been removed from the register. Those who want to return to the register must: complete a restoration form, have a medical examination, pay a fee of £120, give evidence that they have completed the required amount of CPD and if they were working in the UK while their name was erases from the register, they and their employer will need to explain the circumstances in form of a letter.
