Flame Health Associates are looking for an experienced and dynamic Theatre Scrub Nurse/Practitioner in Reading, who is interested in working alongside a highly motivated, patient focused team who believe in providing the most current evidence based surgical practice.Our client are a company that runs hospitals, rehabilitation and health services in the UK.
The candidate must be passionate in delivering care and continually looking for opportunities to improve and develop their skills to achieve this. The candidate must have the skills and minimum 2 years’ experience in major orthopedic surgery, including joints and varied theatre settings and other specialties in a multidisciplinary environment.
The post holder will act as a member of the Theatre team and will be responsible for the delivery of safe, high quality patient focused care. They will be responsible for ensuring all resources within that area are used to optimum effect, ensuring the highest quality patient care standards.
Part of the role will also be to prepare the operating theatre for surgery and ensures necessary instruments, equipment and sterile supplies are available for each surgical procedure and that the theatre department is left stocked up and prepared for the next day.
