Flame Health Optometry are currently recruiting for an Ophthalmic Healthcare Assistant, Ophthalmic Nurse Practitioner and a Senior Ophthalmic Technician to join a highly regarded Private Healthcare Clinic who specialise in Ophthalmology, in particular Cornea, Refractive Surgery and Anterior Segment Diseases. They are considered within the ophthalmic industry to be the “centre of excellence” as patients are regularly referred to them both nationally and internationally.

Flame Health are looking for an Ophthalmic Healthcare assistant to work as a member of the theatre team providing valuable assistance to the Theatre Manager and the wider clinical team. You will be directly contributing to the safe and efficient care of patients within the operating theatres and pre/post-operative recovery room. For this position you will have experience in health care setting (preferably a hospital), have basic knowledge of medical / nursing terminology, stock control experience. You will also have the ability to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills whilst interacting well within a multidisciplinary team.

You will act as a good role model, working with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and co-ordinate all aspects of care in the best interests of the patient.

Flame Health Optometry are currently recruiting for a Senior Ophthalmic Technician to work for our client as part of a team across three locations when required. To apply for this role you must have previous experience of working within a clinical environment such as an eye hospital or laser surgery clinic.
For all 3 positions you will be working across 3 of their Private Eye Care Clinics based in West Sussex, Surrey and West London on a full time basis.
