Hospital Director (RMN) – Hampshire (Mental Health)
Salary: Circa £70,000 plus benefits!

They enable their patients with mental health illness to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams.
This 40 bedded hospital provides acute in patient, day patient and out patient services to adults with mental health problems. It also has a specialist CAMHS in patient service, a specialist eating disorders service and an addiction treatment programme. This hospital is set in the outskirts of Southampton, close to the New Forest Country Park.
- You will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the hospital
- You will contribute to the strategic development of the hospital, in accordance with regulatory, quality and business standards
- Likely to be the Registered Manager for the Hospital, as regulated by the respective regulator
- You will ensure both quality and financial targets are met and facilitate the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of purchasers and patients and also reflect market trends and evidence based practice
Ideal candidate:
- Must have either a senior nursing or clinical background
- Be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC pin number
- A proven track record of general management in either the public or private sector
- Previous experience within the healthcare profession and leading a hospital
- An understanding of mental health issues and a passion for improving clinical quality and patient care
- Previous experience of working with adults with mental health problems, as well as CAMHS patients, specialist eating disorders service and an addiction treatment programme
- Must be able to demonstrate project management skills and experience in leading and managing change
- Previous track record of successful service delivery, people management, budget control, business development and revenue generation
