Flame Health is proud to be working exclusively with a leading healthcare organisation in Oxfordshire.

We are now actively recruiting a Quality Assurance Lead to take a key role in ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and supporting operations under a Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (WDA).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated QA professional to step into a vital position where you’ll drive quality excellence, manage internal systems, and support both audits and continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily QA activities relating to pharmacy and wholesale operations
  • Manage the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS), including deviations, CAPAs, change control, and SOP updates
  • Lead internal audits and support external inspections to ensure audit readiness
  • Review, maintain, and update SOPs, risk assessments, and quality documentation
  • Conduct root cause investigations and support risk management initiatives
  • Lead and support validation activities for systems and processes
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics, ensuring data trends inform improvement
  • Deliver training to staff and champion a strong quality-driven culture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse and pharmacy, to maintain compliance

About You:

  • Proven experience in a pharmaceutical QA role, ideally within GDP-regulated environments
  • Strong knowledge of QMS processes including deviation handling and CAPA lifecycle
  • Comfortable leading audits and maintaining regulatory compliance
  • Experience supporting or leading validation projects
  • Excellent communication skills and a meticulous, well-organised approach
  • Confident working across departments and mentoring others in QA best practices
