An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a passionate and patient-focused Optometrist to join a brand new independent optical practice in Colchester, Essex.

This is a rare opportunity to become part of a new independent business from the very beginning, helping shape a modern, clinically focused and customer-led practice with ambitious long-term plans.

The practice is planned to be a large, high-quality independent opticians with multiple Optometrists and a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional patient care through longer testing times, advanced technology and a personalised approach.

Our client is seeking a full-time Optometrist who is enthusiastic about independent practice and excited by the opportunity to contribute towards building a fresh and progressive optical business.

Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience

Tuesday to Saturday working pattern
Sundays and Mondays off
Working hours of 9:30am to 5:30pm

The Ideal Candidate

GOC registered Optometrist
Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
Comfortable working within a collaborative team environment
Enthusiastic about independent practice

This position would suit an Optometrist looking to move away from a highly commercial environment and into a practice where patient care, clinical standards and long-term development are the priority.
