Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 FTE DOE
Hours: 4-5 days per week, to include Saturdays. Opening hours 9-5 (closed for lunch 1-2).
Annual leave: 5 weeks (accrual of more possible over time)
Sick pay: 4 weeks
Auto Enrolment pension
Professional fees paid
No Bank Holidays
No Sundays
Closed between Christmas and New Year
50 minute eye exams for most patients
Equipment: Topcon Maestro2 OCT, Tono Vera, Henson 9000, Optix PMS, Thomson Test chart software

Our client, a well-established independent optician with multiple branches throughout the area, is seeking an Optometrist to work in their single consulting room practice in the Colchester, Essex Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform eye tests and examinations with the highest level of care, ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
• Provide advice and guidance on frame and lens selection, working closely with the qualified dispensing team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, understanding their needs and providing tailored care.
• Support clinical development and growth within the practice.
• Occasionally travel to other practice locations as required.
