The Opportunity

As an Optometrist, you will play a central role in delivering an outstanding patient experience, with the customer journey beginning in the consulting room.

You will work closely with the Store Manager and wider practice team, acting as a clinical leader and trusted professional while supporting the continued growth and success of the business.

This is a varied role combining high-quality eye examinations, strong patient relationships, clinical excellence, and team collaboration.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering thorough and professional eye examinations focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for patients.

You will take time to understand each patient’s needs, explain findings clearly, and build lasting relationships that encourage repeat visits and recommendations.

Alongside your clinical duties, you will support the development of the retail team by sharing optical knowledge and assisting with training where required.

You will also help maintain the highest standards of patient care, technical accuracy, and practice performance.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate must be a fully qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist eligible to practice in the UK.

MECS accreditation is preferred.

You should be confident working within a medium-paced environment while maintaining exceptional clinical standards and a patient-first approach.

Strong communication, organisation, customer service, and problem-solving skills are essential.

You should also be a genuine team player, adaptable in approach, and motivated to contribute positively to the wider success of the practice.

Availability to work Saturdays is required.
