Flame Health Optometry have been instructed by our client to recruit an Optical Practice Manager for an onsite, permanent position in Weymouth.
The salary for this role is £28,000 to £30,000 per annum, and it will suit an experienced retail manager who enjoys leading a team, balancing customer care with commercial performance, and working in a healthcare-led environment.
This is a branch leadership role with day-to-day responsibility for the smooth running of the practice. You will lead and motivate the team, oversee branch operations, manage stock and support sales performance, while ensuring customers receive expert advice and the highest standard of care.
A significant part of the role will involve staff training, coaching and performance management, alongside maintaining compliance with company policies, health and safety standards and regulatory requirements. You will also work closely with Optometrists and Hearing Aid Audiologists to support clinical excellence, and engage with the local community to help promote the branch and build strong customer relationships. Basic IT skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems are part of the remit.
