Flame Health’s Optometry division have an exciting opportunity for an Optical Practice Manager to join an innovative, award winning and growing independent company with branches across the UK. The company in question prides itself on delivering outstanding eye care and providing their patients with the best solutions to see the world clearly.

As an Optical Practice Manager you will be expected to coach, mentor and develop practice team, to be an ambassador for the company’s vision and values and ensure that the client journey is being delivered consistently, ensuring the ECC’s receive obsessively great service. Therefore driving performance to achieve budget.

Responsibilities:

• Coach, mentor, train and develop your team – Provide regular constructive feedback and review meetings and managing performance.
• Ensure that the practice is adhering and achieving to all operational standards set, including smart booking and diary management.
• To manage all aspects of practice rota’s ensuring that there is sufficient cover available and all holiday requests actioned within 7 days. Work with other practice managers in area to maintain adequate cover across the area.
• Understanding of the MI to maintain areas of the budget and ensure that all areas are within spend and stock control is tightly managed.

Our ideal team member will be an experienced Dispensing Optician, Deputy Practice Manager or Practice Manager looking to take the next exciting step. You will have excellent communication and listening skills with an ability to be understood both verbally and non-verbally and the ability to build relationships with your clients, peers and team members.  You will also have the ability to diagnose and solve problems, plan, prioritise workloads, share responsibilities accordingly and have excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
