Flame Health Optometry have been instructed to recruit a Practice Manager for an established independent optical and hearing care practice in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This full-time, onsite role offers 37.5 hours per week and a salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience, alongside an attractive bonus scheme and excellent benefits. It will suit an experienced Optical
Advisor, Dispensing Optician, Assistant Manager or retail professional who is ready to move into management with support and mentoring in place.
The Practice Manager will support the day-to-day running of the branch and work closely with the wider management team to help ensure operations are efficient, profitable and maintained to high professional standards. The role combines people leadership with commercial responsibility, including supervising, motivating and developing team members, supporting daily processes, driving business growth and helping deliver practice objectives and KPIs.
You will lead by example, contribute to a positive team culture and identify opportunities for both team development and business growth. The practice already has an established Assistant Manager and Sales Advisor, providing a strong base for the new manager to build upon.
