A family-run independent opticians in Cannock is looking to hire a full time experienced Optical Advisor/Dispenser.

The practice offers relaxed clinics and is known for its established patient base and well-qualified team. The role offers long-term progression opportunities and requires a commitment of 5 days a week, including some Saturdays.

About the Role:

  • Practice Type: Independent Group
  • Patient Base: Established mixed patient base
  • Clinic Style: Relaxed
  • Test times 25-35 minutes
  • Progression: Long-term opportunities available
  • Salary: Up to £27.5k, Dependent on experience
  • Equipment: Well equipped practice
  • Hours:  9am – 5.15pm

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Ideally but not essential, experienced OA who can dispense to a high level.
  • Experience: Excellent customer service skills, dispense at all levels, good knowledge of frames and lenses. 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Willingness to engage with all customers
  • Desire to help grow and develop the business
  • Ability to work as part of a friendly, close-knit team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Patient-focused and dynamic approach
