Flame Health’s Optometry division are currently recruiting for an experienced Optical Advisor to join a well-established, patient-focused practice in Reigate.

Position: Optical Advisor
Location: Reigate, Surrey
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £28,000 basic

Key Responsibilities

As an Optical Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient journey from arrival through to dispensing.

Duties include:

• Handling patient enquiries both face-to-face and via telephone
• Booking and registering patients for eye examinations
• Conducting pre-screening and pre-examinations
• Supporting dispensing and frame selection
• Ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Working collaboratively within a busy team environment
• Managing queries efficiently, professionally and with empathy

Candidate Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Previous experience working within an optical practice
• Proven dispensing experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional, friendly and approachable manner
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
• A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
