Hearing Aid Dispenser Job Twickenham

JOB Details:

Job Overview

Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a HCPC-registered Hearing Aid Dispenser for a domiciliary role covering Twickenham, South West London and surrounding areas. Offering up to £50,000, monthly commission and a company car, this position suits an experienced dispenser who combines strong private sales ability with a patient-centred approach to hearing care. The role is carried out on weekdays only, with no weekend work.

About the Job

Working from patients’ homes, you will manage a daily schedule of adults with hearing loss and provide comprehensive audiological testing and hearing care. Your responsibilities will include pure tone audiometry, masking, assessment for non-organic and noise-induced hearing loss, aural impressions, ear mould selection, and the programming and fitting of suitable hearing instruments.

You will provide structured aftercare, use subjective and objective outcome measures, and apply Real Ear Measurement to validate and verify fittings. Ear care and wax removal may also form part of the service, with appropriate training provided. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will make autonomous clinical decisions while receiving logistical and clinical support from central teams.

About the Employer

Our client provides domiciliary hearing care, supporting vulnerable adults in the familiarity and comfort of their own homes. The organisation places emphasis on professional expertise, evidence-based practice, clinical governance and patient satisfaction, while enabling clinicians to work with autonomy and access appropriate support.

The package includes private medical insurance, a company car, life assurance at four times salary, a contributory pension scheme, health and wellbeing initiatives, colleague assistance support, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and discounts on eyewear and hearing products after the qualifying period.

What We Are Looking For

You must be registered with the HCPC as a Hearing Aid Dispenser, with suitable training provided where required. You will need experience in hearing aid dispensing and private sales, together with the ability to work within your clinical knowledge, recognise professional boundaries and seek advice when appropriate.

The position requires a confident driver with at least two years’ driving experience and the ability to navigate multiple locations. You should communicate effectively with patients, colleagues and other parties, use digital systems accurately, remain calm under pressure, and take a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Organisation, multitasking, reflective practice, clinical teamwork and a commitment to continuing professional development are essential, including maintaining CPD records in line with HCPC requirements.

Who This Role Suits

This position is suited to a qualified hearing care professional who values autonomy and wants to deliver meaningful support directly to patients in their homes. It will appeal to someone seeking weekday working, professional responsibility and the opportunity to combine clinical care with private sales in a supported domiciliary setting.

Job Location

The role is based in Twickenham and covers surrounding areas across South West London. It is suited to a confident driver who can travel between patients’ homes and manage varied daily locations.
