Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a HCPC-registered Hearing Aid Dispenser for a domiciliary role covering Leatherhead and surrounding areas. Offering a salary of up to £50,000, monthly commission and a company car, this weekday-only position suits an experienced dispenser who combines strong private sales ability with a commitment to patient-focused hearing care.
Working as a domiciliary audiologist, you will manage a daily schedule of adults with hearing loss, providing audiological testing and care in patients’ homes. Your responsibilities will include pure tone audiometry, masking, hearing loss assessments, aural impressions, ear mould selection, hearing instrument programming and fitting, and structured aftercare.
You will use outcome measures and Real Ear Measurement equipment to verify fittings, provide ear care and wax removal where required, and maintain test equipment and calibration arrangements. The role involves autonomous clinical decision-making, with logistical and clinical support from central teams. You will report to the Regional Manager and contribute to clinical governance, infection control, health and safety, supervision and continuing professional development.
Our client is a specialist provider of hearing and sight care delivered in patients’ homes. Established in 1987, the organisation focuses on supporting people who may be vulnerable or require care in a familiar environment.
The role offers a package including private medical insurance, a company car, life assurance, health and wellbeing initiatives, a contributory pension scheme, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and access to a colleague assistance programme. Employees may also receive discounts on eyewear and hearing products after the qualifying period.
You must be registered with the HCPC as a Hearing Aid Dispenser, with appropriate training provided where needed. Experience in private sales and a strong interest in delivering high-quality hearing care are important for this position.
You will need to communicate effectively and flexibly with multiple parties, use digital systems accurately, and work within your clinical knowledge and limitations. The role requires a confident driver with at least two years’ driving experience and the ability to navigate multiple locations. You should be organised, able to multitask, calm under pressure and pragmatic when solving problems. A willingness to reflect on your practice, maintain HCPC-compliant CPD records, seek advice when appropriate and contribute constructively to a clinical team is also required.
This role is suited to a qualified Hearing Aid Dispenser seeking greater autonomy and the opportunity to deliver meaningful care directly in patients’ homes. It will appeal to someone who values professional support, weekday working and the ability to combine clinical expertise with private sales.
The position is based in Leatherhead and surrounding areas in Surrey, involving travel to patients’ homes. Leatherhead is well connected by road and rail to locations across Surrey and the wider South East.
