Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a Hearing Aid Dispenser for a domiciliary role covering Epsom and surrounding areas. Offering up to £50,000 plus monthly commission and a company car, this weekday-only position suits an HCPC-registered professional who combines strong clinical expertise with private sales experience and a commitment to patient-centred hearing care.
As a domiciliary audiologist, you will manage a daily schedule of adults with hearing loss, providing audiological testing and support in their homes. Your responsibilities will include pure tone audiometry, masking where required, testing for non-organic and noise-induced hearing loss, taking aural impressions, selecting and fitting appropriate ear moulds and hearing instruments, and programming devices.
You will deliver structured aftercare and use subjective and objective outcome measures, alongside Real Ear Measurement, to verify and validate fittings. The role also includes ear care and wax removal, equipment maintenance, infection control, and accurate use of digital systems. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will work autonomously while receiving logistical and clinical support from central teams.
Our client provides domiciliary hearing care, supporting adults with hearing loss in the comfort of their own homes. The role offers professional autonomy alongside central logistical and clinical support, enabling practitioners to use their expertise while contributing to a wider clinical team.
The package includes a basic salary of up to £50,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, monthly commission, a company car, private medical insurance, life assurance at four times salary, a contributory pension scheme, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and access to health and wellbeing initiatives. Additional benefits include a colleague assistance programme and discounts on eyewear and hearing products after the qualifying period.
HCPC registration as a Hearing Aid Dispenser is required, with appropriate training provided as needed. You will bring experience in private sales and the ability to provide safe, effective audiological care within your professional knowledge and limitations.
You should be a confident driver with at least two years’ driving experience and the ability to find multiple locations. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, organisation and the ability to multitask are essential. The successful candidate will work calmly under pressure, take a pragmatic approach to problem solving, reflect on their practice, maintain appropriate CPD records and recognise when to seek advice. A commitment to clinical governance, infection control, health and safety, and ongoing learning is expected.
This role suits an established Hearing Aid Dispenser looking for autonomy, variety and the opportunity to make a direct difference to vulnerable patients. It may appeal to someone who values weekday working, wants to develop their clinical practice and enjoys combining professional hearing care with private sales.
The position is based in Epsom and surrounding areas, with travel between patients’ homes during the working week.
