Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense spectacles, lenses, and optical products based on patients’ prescriptions and specific needs.
• Provide personalised advice on frame and lens options, focusing on style, comfort, and functionality.
• Use advanced optical technology to ensure precise measurements and fittings.
• Deliver high-quality customer service, making patients feel informed and comfortable about their choices.
• Adjust and repair frames to ensure an optimal fit for patients.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and optical innovations.
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth operations and a seamless patient experience.

Ideal Candidate:

• Fully qualified Dispensing Optician with GOC registration.
• Proven experience in an optical practice, ideally in a customer-focused setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Experience dispensing a wide range of lenses, including single-vision, bifocals, varifocals, and specialist lenses.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Adaptable, proactive, and eager to stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
