This job opportunity is for a Full-Time Dispensing Optician with an independent family-owned business in South Dublin, which has been in operation for nearly 60 years. As part of a small team, you will be working alongside experienced Dispensing Opticians (DOs) with over 30 years of experience, dispensing high-quality optical frames and lenses using premium products without restriction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing top-quality frames and lenses.
• Working closely with experienced DOs.
• Working in Paediatric Dispensing
• Providing exceptional customer service and being sales-focused.

Requirements:

• Must be a CORU-registered Dispensing Optician with at least one year of experience.
• Strong knowledge of lenses and willingness to learn about dispensing from a wide range of suppliers.
• Customer-friendly, service-oriented, and capable of using initiative.
• Ability to commute or relocate to South Dublin.

Job Details:

• Pay: Starting from €32,000 – 37,000 (DOE) + Bonus
• Hours: Five days a week, including Saturdays. No work on Sundays or bank holidays. Closed on Mondays.
• Type: Full-time, permanent.

You will need to have a demonstrable track record of achievement coupled with good team management skills, an eye for detail, a significant interest in optical fashion trends and be up-to-date with the latest clinical advancements. An enjoyment of working with children is essential in this role, as they are market leading in this area.
