A family-run independent opticians in Birmingham is looking to hire a full time Dispensing Optician due to expansion.

The practice offers relaxed clinics and is known for its established patient base and well-qualified team. The role offers long-term progression opportunities and requires a commitment 5 days a week.

About the Role:

• Practice Type: Independent Group
• Patient Base: Established mixed patient base
• Supportive team 
• Clinic Style: Relaxed
• Test times 25-35 minutes
• Progression: Long-term opportunities available
• Salary: Dependent on experience
• Equipment: Well equipped practice

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Ideally but not essential, Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
• Experience: Excellent customer service skills, dispense at all levels, good knowledge of frames and lenses

• Desire to help grow and develop the business
• Ability to work as part of a friendly, close-knit team
