Audiologist Jobs Edinburgh

JOB Details:

Job Overview

Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a Hearing Aid Audiologist for the Edinburgh and West Borders area.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a basic salary of £40,000, uncapped monthly commission, and the opportunity to earn quarterly and annual bonuses, plus a car allowance from £5,328 per annum or a company car if preferred.

It will suit an HCPC-qualified audiologist who is confident providing excellent patient care and has the commercial awareness to support solution-led recommendations.

About the Job

The role is home-based, with the audiologist visiting patients in their own homes across Edinburgh and the West Borders. Day to day, you will carry out comprehensive hearing assessments, provide and sell the most appropriate hearing solutions within the required timescales, complete audiograms and customer records accurately on the company’s CMS system, and synchronise these daily. You will also follow the standard consultation and company working practices, provide after-sales support by responding to service calls, and keep your knowledge and skills current in line with HCPC CPD requirements. You will be supported by a designated diary coordinator and a team of managers.

About the Employer

Our client is one of the UK’s leading expert providers of private hearing healthcare, with a long-standing reputation for making a meaningful difference to people living with hearing loss. Established in 1968, the organisation supports more than 100,000 people each year and employs over 650 people in the UK, including almost 240 fully qualified Hearing Aid Dispensers. It is part of a global hearing healthcare and technology group and is known for a down-to-earth, supportive culture built around team spirit, trust, a can-do approach and innovative solutions. The business has also been recognised with Gold standard Investors in People status.

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will be a qualified hearing aid audiologist, or a pre-registered hearing aid audiologist, with current HCPC registration. You should be a member of BSHAA, or prepared to become one, and have the IT skills needed to use company systems and audiometry equipment confidently.

We are looking for someone with strong time and job management, a structured approach to workload, a current driving licence, and the ability to work within the UK/EU without restrictions, as visa sponsorship is not available.

A genuine commitment to premium customer care, ongoing CPD, and an aptitude for sales are also essential.

Who This Role Suits

This role will suit a qualified or pre-registered hearing aid audiologist who wants a role combining clinical work, patient contact and a measured commercial element. It will appeal to someone who values support, structure and the chance to work independently while still being part of a team.

Job Location

The role is based in Edinburgh and the West Borders, with patient visits carried out in their own homes across the area. A full driving licence is required, as the work involves travelling between appointments within the region.
