Job Overview

Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to appoint a Hearing Aid Audiologist for a permanent, on-site position in Colchester, offering a basic salary of £40,000, uncapped monthly commission and additional bonus opportunities.

This role will suit an HCPC-registered professional who combines clinical expertise with a strong commitment to premium customer care and an aptitude for sales.

About the Job

Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm, you will carry out comprehensive hearing assessments, complete audiograms and recommend the most appropriate hearing solutions. You will maintain accurate customer records on the company’s CMS system, synchronise information daily and follow the standard consultation process.

You will also provide professional after-sales support, responding promptly to service calls and resolving customer queries or problems. The role includes ongoing collaboration with a designated diary coordinator and supportive managers, with some flexibility in working hours required to meet business needs.

You will be expected to maintain your knowledge and skills in line with HCPC continuing professional development requirements.

About the Employer

Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of private hearing healthcare, delivering personalised services intended to improve customers’ quality of life. The organisation forms part of an international hearing care group, bringing together hearing care professionals, managers, front-of-house colleagues and wider specialist functions across multiple markets.

The business combines an international perspective with a local approach and places emphasis on supportive working relationships, professional standards and customer care.

Employees receive a range of benefits, including private health insurance after the qualifying period, 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, an Employee Assistance Programme, employee discounts and long-service awards.

You will need to be a qualified or pre-registered HAD and hold current HCPC registration. Membership of BSHAA is required, or you must be prepared to become a member.

A full, current UK driving licence is essential.

The successful candidate will be able to complete hearing assessments and recommend and sell suitable hearing solutions in accordance with HCPC standards of performance, conduct and ethics, together with the BSHAA code of practice and guidelines.

You should have IT skills sufficient to use company systems and audiometry equipment, alongside effective time and job management abilities to maintain a structured workload. A genuine desire to provide premium customer care, with confidence in a sales-focused environment, is important.
