Flame Health Optometry have been instructed to recruit a Branch Manager for a confidential client’s established Putney practice. This is an opportunity for a qualified Dispensing Optician to take on a leadership position, guide colleagues and contribute to commercial performance while maintaining a high standard of patient care. The role offers a salary of £41,525–£43,709, together with a £5,000 welcome bonus.
The Branch Manager will lead the practice in Putney, balancing business performance with attentive service for customers and patients. It would suit a GOC-registered Dispensing Optician ready to develop a team, build customer relationships and take greater responsibility for a practice’s success.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will oversee the practice’s day-to-day performance and lead, motivate and develop colleagues. You will encourage a positive working culture while maintaining a focus on the customer and patient experience.
Commercial leadership is central to the position. You will monitor performance, work towards branch targets and put strategies in place to support growth. Building lasting customer relationships and helping colleagues deliver consistently excellent service will also be important parts of your remit.
The working pattern alternates between Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off, and Monday to Friday. The package includes a performance bonus scheme, staff discounts and a contribution towards gym or club membership, in addition to the welcome bonus.
