Flame Health Optometry has been instructed by our client to recruit a full-time Mobile Dispensing Optician, based in Camberley and supporting practices across Surrey and the surrounding area. The role offers a salary of up to £33,990, an average annual dispensing bonus of £2,500, and either a company car or travel allowance; it will suit a GOC-registered Dispensing Optician who enjoys patient care and variety in their working week.
You will provide dispensing support at different practices, covering holidays, assisting with additional clinics and bringing your expertise to teams when extra support is needed. The work spans a range of practice settings and patient needs, with travel kept within a pre-agreed radius of up to 90 minutes from your home address.
You will guide patients through the dispensing experience, build relationships and recommend eyewear suited to their prescription, lifestyle and personal style. The role calls for a consultative approach and a focus on individual care, rather than simply processing prescriptions. The working pattern alternates between Monday to Friday one week and Tuesday to Saturday the next. You will receive either a company car or travel allowance to support travel between practices.
