Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a Hearing Aid Audiologist for a full-time, onsite post in the Leeds area, with a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum plus company car or car allowance.
This role will suit a HCPC-registered clinician who enjoys combining careful assessment work with hands-on patient care, and who wants to make a clear difference to people’s daily lives.
In this role, you will carry out comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests, then fit and programme hearing aids to meet each patient’s individual needs. You will also provide clear advice, education and ongoing support to help people use their hearing devices effectively, while handling maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting when required.
Alongside direct patient work, you will maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and regulatory standards and work closely with support staff to ensure a high level of care. The post also involves keeping up to date with audiology and hearing aid developments through continuous professional development, using the latest technology and clinical tools available to you.
Our client is a well-established provider of optometry and hearing care services, working in a professional setting where patient experience matters. The environment is described as supportive and friendly, with access to up-to-date hearing aid technology and clinical tools to support quality care.
This is a service-led organisation where accurate practice, teamwork and ongoing development are valued. The role offers the chance to contribute to a meaningful service that has a direct impact on patients’ quality of life.
We are looking for a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You should have experience fitting and managing a wide range of hearing aids, together with strong clinical skills and the confidence to deliver tailored support.
Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a patient-centred approach and the ability to provide empathetic, effective care. A commitment to ongoing learning and teamwork is also important, as is the discipline to maintain accurate records and work professionally within clinical and regulatory standards.
This role suits an audiology professional who wants a patient-facing position where clinical skill and personal interaction are equally important. It will appeal to someone who takes satisfaction from helping people improve their hearing and who values a supportive working environment.
It is a strong fit for a candidate looking for a role with development potential, access to current technology and the opportunity to build on established experience.
The role is based in the Leeds area in West Yorkshire. It is an onsite position with access to the city’s wider transport links and local amenities.
