Flame Health Optometry have been instructed to recruit a qualified, GOC-registered Optometrist for a permanent, onsite position in Witney, offering a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum. This role will suit a clinician who values thorough patient care, strong relationships and the chance to contribute meaningfully to a community branch.
In this branch-based role, you will carry out comprehensive eye examinations within 30-minute test slots, using your clinical judgement to diagnose and manage a range of eye health conditions. You will also provide tailored advice on spectacle and contact lens options, ensuring each customer receives care that reflects their individual needs.
Working closely with branch colleagues, you will help support service delivery and business growth while maintaining a positive experience at every visit. Where applicable, you may also take part in local enhanced service schemes and contribute to pre-registration supervision.
Ongoing CPD will support you in staying up to date with optical products and wider industry developments, and you will work with fully computerised systems to help streamline your day.

You should be keen to build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues, and motivated by professional development. A willingness to engage in ongoing CPD, local enhanced schemes and pre-registration supervision where applicable will be important, as will a practical, hands-on approach to day-to-day clinical work.
